This policy explains how Sovina Technologies LLC ("Sovina", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through sovina.ae and when you contact us. Sovina is registered on the UAE mainland, with its office at Addax Office Tower, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

What we collect

Information you give us: when you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, work email, company (if you provide it), the product you are interested in and your message.

Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which is used to deliver and secure the site.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange demos and workshops, and follow up on a conversation you started with us.

To operate, secure and improve the website.

To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data because you asked us to (taking steps at your request before a contract) and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the website and contact form on our behalf, such as our hosting and form-handling provider, under contracts that limit their use of the data.

Sovina's affiliated companies and authorised resellers, only where needed to answer your enquiry in your region.

Authorities, where the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal data.

International transfers

Our team and service providers operate in several countries, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States and India. When data moves between countries, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting relationship, and then for no longer than 24 months unless the law requires longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. See "Your data rights" in the footer, or email sales@sovina.ae with the subject "Privacy request".

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

These terms apply to your use of sovina.ae. By using the website you agree to them. Product licences, subscriptions and services are governed by separate written agreements, not by these terms.

Use of the website

You may browse the website and use its content for information about Sovina and its products. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use automated tools to copy it at scale.

Information on the site

We work to keep the content accurate, but it is provided for general information only. Product descriptions, use cases, examples and figures are illustrative and do not form an offer or a commitment. Capabilities and availability depend on the agreement you sign with us or our authorised partner.

Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, designs and graphics, belong to Sovina or its licensors. Product names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. You may not reuse them without permission.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Liability

The website is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Sovina is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law where you live says otherwise.

What we use

Strictly necessary only. The website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.

Our hosting provider may use technically necessary cookies or similar mechanisms to deliver the site securely and to protect the contact form from spam.

Third-party content

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and standard request data. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because we only use necessary technologies, blocking them may stop parts of the site, such as the contact form, from working.

If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

This policy describes uses that are not allowed for the Sovina website and, unless your agreement says otherwise, for Sovina products and services, including Axon, Sovrenix, CloudStack, Apiezy and Cesios.

You must not

Break the law or help others break it, including export control and sanctions laws.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data, or test security without written permission.

Distribute malware, or use the services to attack, scan or disrupt other systems.

Use the services to infringe others' rights, including privacy and intellectual property.

Use AI features to create content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing or harmful, or to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without appropriate human review.

Security research

If you believe you have found a vulnerability in our website or products, please report it privately to sales@sovina.ae with the subject "Security report" so we can investigate before it is made public.

Enforcement

We may suspend access or take other reasonable action when this policy is breached, in line with our agreements and the law.

How Sovina handles customer data when we deliver products and services.

Your data stays with you

Sovina products are designed to be deployed on your own infrastructure, on-premises or air-gapped. In those deployments, your models, prompts, documents and outputs are processed inside your environment, and Sovina does not receive them.

Products ship with outbound telemetry disabled by default.

When we process data for you

Some services involve Sovina staff working with your data, for example on-site delivery by the Sovrenix team, support sessions, or hosted offerings. In those cases we act as your processor, only on your documented instructions, under a data processing agreement that forms part of your contract.

Our commitments

Confidentiality obligations for everyone who works with your data.

Appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

Use of sub-processors only with your authorisation, under equivalent obligations.

Help with data subject requests, security incidents and audits, as set out in the agreement.

Return or deletion of your data at the end of the engagement.

Requesting a DPA

Customers and prospective customers can request our data processing agreement at sales@sovina.ae.

Data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and other national laws give people rights over their personal data. Sovina respects these rights wherever you are.

Your rights

Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.

Deletion: ask us to erase your data where there is no reason to keep it.

Portability: receive your data in a commonly used format.

Objection and restriction: object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask us to limit it.

Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

How to make a request

Email sales@sovina.ae with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity, and we aim to respond within one month.

You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
